New Jersey Launches Mandatory CLE Amid Distance Learning Issues

New Jersey's new mandatory CLE rule goes into effect with a unique limit on accreditation of distance learning programs. According to NJ Board on Continuing Legal Education Wendy Weiss, "For live credit to be offered, the speaker must be in the same room as the participants. The only exception will be for attendees viewing the program from an overflow room in the same location as the live event (participants could walk into the live room with the speaker to interact and ask questions as any attendee in the same room with the speaker)."
